Issue 2
Saafir...
Saafir is a true
character. We got this interview when things seemed to be about to
kick in for him - some movie success (Menace II Society),
a new album ("The
Hitlist" - which had a great lead single, "Smartbomb")
and a collaboration with Ras Kass and Xzibit (The
Golden State Warriors). Nothing much seems to have come
out of this period for him but he's still a king... And, yes,
his battle against Casual
from Heiroglyphics on
the Wake
Up Show is part of hip hop folklore.
